HOW TO CLEAN FACE
We all wish for a skin which is beautiful,
healthy and free of blemishes. For getting it, we always try to give our best.
But, sometimes we fail. From our busy schedule, no one has the time to go to
the salon and pamper your skin, right? Many of us can’t even take out few
minutes from our to-do list to cleanse our skin. But the truth is that most
skin-types require a regular face clean up for that healthy and radiant look.
Now, It's time to take care of your skin.
STEPS FOR HOW TO CLEAN FACE
1. Cleansing:
The first step of skin care routine or any skin
treatment is cleansing your face. Wash off every last bit of oil, makeup
and dirt from your face before you get on with your face clean up. And thus,
washing just with water isn’t enough. Double cleanse your face to get it
squeaky clean and fresh.
- First, take a cotton pad and makeup remover and wipe your face thoroughly with it. It will remove all the makeup and sweat from the face.
- Next, take cleansing milk and rub it onto your face. The makeup and dirt settled deep into the skin will get off by this cleansing milk.
- Rinse your face with water and move on to foam cleansing. Use a mild soap or face wash or this purpose. Always use warm water to wash off the cleanser. Never use hot water as it will dry your skin.
2. Steaming:
Steaming the face makes the skin softer and opens up the
pores. Thus the skin becomes more absorbent for the products to follow
like a toner and moisturizer. Also it becomes easy to extract blackheads and whiteheads. To
do this
- Take boiling water in a pot and place it on a table.
- Now take a towel and cover your head. Now hold your face over the steam as long as your skin can sustain. You can take off your towel in between if you need. Take steam for 5-10 minutes.
3. Scrubbing:
Scrubbing is the most important step in the face clean up as the granules in a scrub helps to
remove dead skin cells, oil, dirt, any product build-up that are settled deep
into the skin. Now take any scrub according to your
skin. Apply it on your wet face and massage for 2-3 minutes and rinse out with cold
water.
4. Face Pack:
No matter what your skin
type is, the application of a moisturising face pack makes your skin soft and
also improves your skin tone. A face pack (or a face mask) does a lot more than just calming your nerves.
- It’s important to pick a suitable face pack for your skin type.
- Apply the pack over your face evenly and relax. Leave it on until it dries, which is generally about twenty minutes to half an hour.
- Once dry, wash the mask off with cold water and pat dry.
5. Toning:
Apply a home-made toner on your face, such as cucumber
juice and rose water, which helps maintain the pH balance.
